Octiber 13, 2009 - CONSTRUCTION TO BEGIN ON NEXT PHASE OF U OF S ACADEMIC HEALTH SCIENCES CENTRE Work on the E Wing phase of the University of Saskatchewan's Academic Health Sciences project is now underway. October 9, 2009 - SASKATCHEWAN'S UNEMPLOYMENT RATE REMAINS THE LOWEST IN CANADA Saskatchewan continued to have the lowest unemployment rate (seasonally adjusted) in Canada in September, with unemployment at 4.6 per cent, down from 5.0 per cent in August. August 28, 2009 - SASKATCHEWAN WORKERS SEE EARNINGS INCREASE Saskatchewan's payroll increases continue to outpace the national average, according to a new report released today by Statistics Canada. Average weekly earnings in Saskatchewan increased by 2.6 per cent (seasonally adjusted) in June 2009 compared to June 2008, well above the national average of 1.8 per cent.
