Background

Our Ministry is once again inviting proposals for the Community Connections Program - Newcomer Integration and Retention Projects. 

This Community Connections Program is intended to support short-term (no longer than six months) community-based projects that facilitate the integration and retention of immigrants into their new communities through active participation and involvement in the planning and delivery of community activities together with established community residents.

Full details on this Call for Proposals and the application process is available below.     Eligible applicants must work in partnership with community-based organizations or immigrant service provider organizations. 

Maximum funding available per project will not exceed $10,000.

All project activities must be completed by September 30, 2012.

This call closed on Thursday, February 2, 2012 at 4:00 p.m.
