See below for more specific information on immigration programs and services provided by our Ministry:

Our Ministry is seeking two qualified candidates in the Regina area to participate in a Canadian Language Benchmarks Placement Test (CLBPT) training session. Those who successfully complete the training will be certified CLB assessors, and may potentially become independent contractors for the Ministry. Training will occur in March 2012 and cost for the training will be covered.

Our province's new immigration strategy Strengthening our Communities and Economy is based on extensive consultations and is is designed to foster increasingly diverse, multicultural communities while at the same time helping to sustain the economic growth underway across Saskatchewan

Our Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP) can provide an alternate and quicker means of entry into Canada.  Through SINP, our Ministry facilitates the nomination of applicants to the federal government for landed immigrant status, based on criteria established by the province.

The Community Connections Program supports the Ministry’s goal of newcomer integration by making funding available for the development of community projects that increase immigrants' sense of belonging in their community by actively engaging them in planning and delivery.

Our Policy and Program Support Branch is responsible for researching, developing, and evaluating Immigration policies and programs.  We also work with other Saskatchewan Ministries and manages the Immigration Services Division’s relationship with the federal government.

Our International Education Unit works with stakeholders to develop and implement international education planning, marketing and promotion to increase the number of international students attending post-secondary institutions in Saskatchewan.

Our Program Integrity Unit works to protect all workers in Saskatchewan, including immigrant and temporary foreign workers, and respond to issues, fraud and misrepresentation.
