Programs & Services Private Vocational SchoolsOur private vocational schools are an important part of Saskatchewan’s post-secondary education system. These schools offer over 200 vocational training programs in Saskatchewan to prepare students for employment in a specific occupation. Private vocational schools are privately owned and operated by individuals or corporations. These schools receive no direct funding from the Saskatchewan government, but are regulated in accordance with The Private Vocational Schools Act, 1995 and by The Private Vocational Schools Regulations, 1995. By law, private vocational schools operating in Saskatchewan must comply with all legislation, be registered with, and have programs approved by our Ministry.
