The Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) sector represents a grouping of organizations and occupations involved in OHS as opposed to a specific industry. Several different types of occupations such as OHS consultants, occupational health officers, educators and trainers, and occupational hygienists must be very knowledgeable about the various applications of OHS. All workplaces and the entire provincial labour force (approximately 500,000 individuals) participate in OHS.
