Provincial Training Allowance (PTA)

About the PTA PTA provides grant funding to assist with the costs of living for low income adult students enrolled full-time in basic education, workforce development programs or quick skills training which are not eligible for student loan funding.  The PTA needs assessment rules determine who is financially needy based on income levels and family size. Students are eligible to apply for the PTA after being accepted in an approved training program.
